The E-1 Visa allows a foreign company or a foreign national to carry on international trade in the US.

Since the 1800s, the United States has had treaties with foreign countries throughout the world and one of the most important reasons was to provide guidelines for both countries to engage in commerce.

The E-1 Treaty Trader Visa (E-1 Visa) is the result of these treaties and the need to allow nonimmigrant benefits to foreign nationals and their employees to come to the United States to engage in international trade.
